One moment is enough to begin#
Each person can name a recent moment when encouragement would have felt welcome: before starting a day, after something difficult, or while slowing down in the evening. You do not need to invent a compulsory check-in routine to justify using a device.
Give the gesture one sentence#
For example, “This is just a little encouragement.” Keep the meaning simple enough to remember, and allow the other person to notice it later.
Let the ritual change#
If an agreement stops feeling natural, use it less often or choose another meaning. A small shared ritual can stay flexible as your routines change.
