# Can I wash, shower, or swim with it?

Use the model-specific care guidance when deciding whether to wear Heyou around water. Water-use and cleaning instructions will be shared with the product.

## Match care to your day
Handwashing, showers and swimming involve different conditions. Check the model’s approved uses before including a ring in those routines.

## Follow the supplied cleaning method
Use the care instructions for your device, including guidance for contact surfaces and charging. For a prototype or test device, ask the team before exposing it to water or cleaning chemicals.

## Tell us what matters to you
If handwashing, swimming or another routine is central to your plans, describe it in your signup suggestion so the team understands the setting.
