# Which phones and operating systems will be supported?

Phone platforms, operating-system requirements and app download information will be shared before pre-orders. Check compatibility for both people’s phones.

## Check the companion app requirements
Before choosing a setup, look at the supported phone platform, minimum operating-system version and app download source.

## Check both people’s phones
Support at one end does not automatically mean the other end is supported. A suggestion such as “one iPhone and one Android phone” is useful. You do not need to include accounts, serial numbers, or other identity details.

## What to expect before ordering
Pre-order information should let you assess whether your combination is supported and which relevant features have been validated. Until that information is published, request updates rather than replacing a phone or buying accessories based on assumptions.
