# Why avoid repeated presses after a delay?

When a result is unclear, pause and compare one action with observations at both ends before pressing again.

## Match one action with one observation
Many repeated presses make it harder to tell which later alert belongs to which action. Pause, note the time, and compare what each person observed.

## Check the connection route
Look at the nearby phone, Bluetooth link and internet connection at each end. Note the approximate delay so the team can understand where the experience changed.

## Use another channel for timely confirmation
For something time-sensitive, contact the other person directly through an existing method. When reporting a problem, distinguish “I pressed several times” from “I pressed once and several messages appeared.” Those are different observations and help avoid misleading conclusions.
